The Uintatherium was a prehistoric mammal that looked like something out of a fantasy book! Living around 40 million years ago, this massive creature had a body similar to a rhino but with a shorter and wider stance. One of its most striking features were the six bony knobs on its skull, three on each side, that looked like extra pairs of blunt horns.

Additionally, Uintatherium had a pair of large saber-like canine teeth. Despite its fierce appearance, this gentle giant was an herbivore, using its big teeth to munch on tough plants in the Eocene forests and grasslands.
