The Red-Eyed Tree Frog is a brightly-colored and beautiful amphibian that is native to the rainforests of Central America. These frogs have a distinctive bright green body with large red eyes, orange toes, and blue and yellow stripes on their sides. They are arboreal creatures, meaning they spend most of their lives in trees, and have adapted to their habitat by having special suction cups on their toes that allow them to cling to leaves and branches.

Red-Eyed Tree Frogs are also known for their unique defense mechanism, where they flash their bright red eyes and expose their brightly-colored underbelly when threatened, startling predators and giving them a chance to escape.
