Returns

Change of mind:

If you change your mind on an item purchased online, you can receive a refund for the product you want to return. Just contact us on Sales@animalkingdoms.co.nz
Online purchases must be returned in original, as new condition, with proof of purchase, within 10 days of the purchase date.

Returns must be sent by tracked courier and be well packaged with protective packaging. We discourage returns being made in courier bags, due to the high likelihood of damage in transit, returns must have ample protective packaging (bubble wrap, packing paper or cardboard).  

We do not cover the cost of delivery for change-of-mind returns. Return postage must be paid for by the returnee.

Damage to the product or packaging, missing tags or anything else that renders the product in less than 'as new' condition will result in reduced or zero credit being allowed. This includes damage to product while in transit due to poor packaging,

Please note - Advent Calendars  TCG (Trading Cards) and seasonal items are excluded from our change of mind offer

Missing Products:

Animal Kingdoms has strict checking processes in place to ensure all orders are complete. These processes reduces missing stock errors to less than 0.01%. Please check your box thoroughly, as sometimes small products can get caught up in packaging material.

In the unlikely event you believe a product is missing please check the floor area where the box was opened as well as the box itself and thoroughly check the packaging materials. If products are missing from your order, all claims MUST be made within 10 days of receiving your order.

Defective or Incorrect Products Received:

If the return is a result of a defective product or an error on our part you are entitled to a full refund and we will also pay the return freight costs (lowest cost option).... however your claim must be made within 10 days of delivery.

Refunds (if applicable):

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed.

If you paid with Afterpay or Laybuy a change of mind refund will be minus a portion of the merchant fee that is charged to Animal Kingdoms - This is because these payment providers do not refund the merchant fee on a change of mind transaction (between 4.5% and 5.5%)

If you Paid with a credit/debit card, or with bank deposit it will be the full product value.
