Torvosaurus, meaning savage lizard, was a large, carnivorous theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Jurassic period. It was one of the largest predators of its time and one of the largest theropods in the Morrison Formation. Fossils have been found in both North America and Europe, and it's known for its powerful legs and potentially long, narrow skull.
