Thalassomedon was a massive marine reptile known as a plesiosaur that lived around 95 million years ago during the Late Cretaceous period. With its extremely long neck, which could reach lengths of up to 20 feet (6 meters), Thalassomedon could snatch prey from afar without moving its entire body, giving it a stealthy approach to hunting. This ancient sea monster, whose name means "sea lord," was a true titan of the oceans!
