The Percheron Mare, a breed of draft horse, originally hails from the Perche Valley in northern France. Not only are they known for their impressive strength and endurance, but they also have a gentle and calm temperament.

Historically, these magnificent horses were used as war horses, but today, they're often seen at parades, in shows, and even helping with forestry work due to their power and grace.
