The Kosmoceratops was a herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period. Its name translates to "ornate horned face", and for good reason. With an astonishing 15 horns and horn-like structures on its head - more than any other known dinosaur - the Kosmoceratops certainly lived up to its name. These included two large horns above its eyes, one short horn on its nose, and an array of smaller horns and hooks decorating the edge of its frill, making this dinosaur one of the most distinct-looking in history.
