We get so many people ask running into the Christmas months, what horses are our best sellers. We have curated a list of some new releases we believe are going to fly off the shelves this Christmas, and some tried and true horses that rock the best sellers every year.

Schleich Paso Peruano family
We start with one of our new arrivals, the Schleich Paso Peruano family, consisting of the Paso Peruano Stallion, Mare and Foal
These are one of our best selling families and you can see why!
Released earlier this year in New Zealand, the Paso Peruano family have been a popular new addition.
This is the first time we have seen Schleich release a Paso Peruano horse family and it was worth the wait!
Schleich Selle Francais Family
Another new arrival this year that we predict will do well this festive season is the beautiful Schleich Selle Francais Family.
These new additions have followed close behind the Paso Peruano family as the must have new herd.
It has been a while since we have had a family unit from Schleich with this distinct colouring, and it has definitely proven popular.
Again a new horse breed for Schleich, it has been well received with great feedback.
Schleich Oldenburger Family
A firm favourite from last year has also made the list! The Schleich Oldenburger Family was a big seller last year and has continued to hold strong going into this Christmas season.
Featuring the Oldenburger Stallion, Mare and Foal, the family units are definitely popular.
The Oldenburger herd is yet another new breed from Schleich, showing how much people are enjoying learning about new horses. We expect this trio to continue to do well this Christmas.
Schleich Haflinger Mare and Foal
The Schleich Haflinger Mare and Foal are a popular duo with Schleich having a long history of making this breed.
Schleich has been making Haflinger horses since 1988 with its first introduction being a grazing Haflinger mare. These newest Haflingers continue on with the tradition.
This duo has been popular since its arrival earlier this year and we expect that to continue through Christmas.
Schleich Horse Club riders
These horses and riders have been so popular they recently had a revamp to include articulated arms and legs, so they can stand, sit and ride! as well as the new addition of helmets.
The horse club riders are firm favourites year on year.
Each set comes with a rider, her horse, her own tack set featuring a saddle and bridle and helmet (or hat), making it the perfect ready to go set for horse club adventures.
Schleich Sofias Beauties
Honorable mention!
The Sofias Beauties are a completely new addition to the Schleich line, featuring brushable manes and tails and lots of accessories.
This new Schleich category has only recently landed in New Zealand and will be the wild card this year.
We are seeing some really exciting new arrivals in the horse club sets!
