A fun fact about Polacanthus is that its name, meaning "many spines," refers to the prominent bony spikes and armor plates covering its back and tail, providing a strong defense against predators like Utahraptor. This herbivorous dinosaur lived in Early Cretaceous Europe, around 125-140 million years ago.
