The leopard seal, named for its spotted coat, is one of the most formidable predators of the Antarctic. Unlike most seals, it has a long and muscular body, making it one of the fastest and most agile seals in the water. It primarily feeds on penguins, smaller seals, and krill, using its powerful jaws to capture prey.
