The Polacanthus, which lived during the Early Cretaceous period, is a lesser-known dinosaur but notable for its distinctive armor. This prehistoric creature was an herbivorous dinosaur, part of the Ankylosaur family, known for their heavy armor and defensive capabilities. The Polacanthus' body was covered in bony plates and spikes, which served as an effective defense mechanism against predators.
