The Spinosaurus is believed to be the largest carnivorous dinosaur, even bigger than the Tyrannosaurus Rex! Its most distinctive feature is the sail-like structure on its back, which was likely used for regulating its body temperature or even for display purposes to attract a mate or intimidate rivals. Plus, with evidence suggesting that it lived both on land and in water, Spinosaurus might have been one of the few semi-aquatic dinosaurs, making it quite the ancient all-terrain predator.
