Beishanlong was a giant dinosaur that lived around 120 million years ago during the Early Cretaceous period. It was an ornithomimosaur, which means its body likely resembled that of a modern ostrich or emu, but much larger — it could have reached lengths of up to 30 feet (9 meters)! Despite its size, Beishanlong was likely a herbivore or omnivore, using its long neck to reach high branches and its powerful legs to outrun predators.
