Ichthyovenator, whose name means "fish hunter," was a unique spinosaurid dinosaur that lived during the Early Cretaceous period, about 125 million years ago. Unlike other spinosaurids, Ichthyovenator had a distinctive double sail on its back, formed by elongated neural spines, giving it a striking appearance. Found in Laos, this dinosaur likely hunted fish in the rivers and lakes of its habitat, using its long, crocodile-like jaws and sharp teeth to snatch its prey right out of the water!
