The Kentrosaurus was like the ultimate spiky defender of the dinosaur world! Living around 150 million years ago, this relative of the Stegosaurus had a body covered with sharp spikes and plates. But what makes the Kentrosaurus extra special is the set of long, pointy spikes on its shoulders and at the end of its tail. When threatened, it could swing its spiky tail like a weapon to fend off predators. Imagine a dinosaur as a walking, protective fortress, with its very own built-in security system—that was the Kentrosaurus!
