The Wirehaired Dachshund has a distinctive scruffy beard and bushy eyebrows which give it a comical and unique appearance! Apart from its iconic wire coat, this breed is known for its bold and curious nature. Believe it or not, those bushy eyebrows actually serve a purpose. Historically used for hunting, these eyebrows and their whiskers helped protect the Dachshund's face from thorns and brambles.
