The Tennessee Walking Stallion is known for its unique four-beat "running walk" gait that makes for a smoother ride, and the Golden Palomino variant is particularly striking with its golden coat and white or cream mane and tail. Interestingly, despite their stunning looks, Golden Palominos achieve their color not through a specific breed, but through a combination of a chestnut base coat with a cream gene that dilutes the color to a golden hue.
