Asian Elephant Calves are incredibly cute and playful. When they're born, they weigh around 200 pounds, which makes them one of the largest newborn animals on Earth! Even though they're big, they still have lots to learn. Baby elephants rely on their mothers and other members of the herd to teach them important skills like how to use their trunk. It can take them up to a year to master this important elephant tool, but once they do, they can use it to drink water, pick up food, and even give themselves a dust bath!
