Giganotosaurus is believed to have been one of the largest meat-eating dinosaurs to ever roam the earth, even larger than the more famous Tyrannosaurus rex! Its name actually means "giant southern lizard" because it was first discovered in Argentina. Giganotosaurus had long, sharp teeth that were serrated like a steak knife, and scientists believe it was a fierce predator that likely hunted in packs.
