The Tylosaurus was a fearsome marine reptile, not a dinosaur, that ruled the ancient seas about 85 million years ago. Growing up to 45 feet long, it was longer than a school bus! With its streamlined body and powerful jaws, the Tylosaurus was a top predator in its ocean home, where it used its long, toothy snout to catch fish, squids, and other marine animals. It was truly a master of the prehistoric seas!
