Quokkas are often called the happiest animals in the world because their mouths naturally turn up at the corners, so they look like they’re always smiling! They are small, about the size of a house cat, and are actually relatives of kangaroos and wallabies, with strong back legs for hopping. Quokkas live on a few islands in Australia, where they snack on leaves and grasses.
