Pterosaurs, such as the Dearc Sgiathanach, ruled the skies during the age of dinosaurs. These were not dinosaurs themselves but close relatives, and they were the first vertebrates known to have developed powered flight.

Their wings were formed by a skin and muscle membrane that stretched from their ankles to a dramatically elongated fourth finger. Pterosaurs came in various shapes and sizes, some with wingspans as wide as a fighter jet and others small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. 

This model flying dinosaur also has an articulated jaw and is a Deluxe 1:6 scale model.
