The Liliensternus was a speedy and agile dinosaur that lived around 210 million years ago. This predator was built for the chase, with long, strong legs and a lightweight body. Unlike the massive and towering giants of its time, the Liliensternus was more of a medium-sized sprinter, measuring about 17 feet long from nose to tail. Scientists believe that it used its quickness to dart after smaller prey, making it one of the nimblest hunters of the Triassic period.
