The Minke Whale is one of the smallest baleen whales, but it's still a giant, reaching lengths of up to 35 feet. These graceful swimmers are known for their "lunge feeding," where they speed up to a group of fish and take a big gulp, collecting a mouthful of water and fish that they then filter through their baleen plates. Minke Whales are also known for their curious nature, often approaching boats to get a closer look at the humans on board.
