The Moropus, a prehistoric creature that lived around 20 million years ago, was a fascinating mix of features! Although it looked somewhat like a horse, it was actually more closely related to rhinos and tapirs. The Moropus had long legs that suggest it was a swift runner, but it also had large, clawed feet, more like a giant ground sloth than a modern horse. These claws were likely used for digging up plants to eat, making the Moropus a unique blend of speed and strength from a time long past.
