The Ornithocheirus was an impressive flying reptile, or pterosaur, that lived during the time of dinosaurs. With a wingspan that could stretch up to 20 feet, it was one of the largest creatures to ever take to the skies. One of its most distinguishing features was its large, rounded crest on the tip of its snout. Despite its huge size, the Ornithocheirus was likely an exceptional flyer, covering great distances in search of food and warm climates.
