History:

The Earth Dragon is said to have been born at the same time as the Earth itself, though no one is old enough to actually confirm this. Some believe it is the physical incarnation of the Earth itself. Whatever the case may be, this dragon is most often seen when a threat arises to the natural world. While its nature is benevolent, it is extremely powerful and will fiercely defend anything that it sense is in danger, from the smallest animal to the most sprawling forest. Those who claim to have seen this magnificent dragon describe it as sprouting out of the ground itself, and disappearing into the night sky when its work is finished.

• Characteristics: This elemental spirit dragon is spreading its wings, which are covered in stars to signify the night sky. Its scales shimmer like the surface of the sea and two branch-like horns sprout from its head, along with a leafy frill. Its gnarled legs and feet symbolize the roots of the great trees of the Earth that have stood for hundreds of years.
• Size and Color: The Earth Dragon is a little over 5 inches long, and stands 6 inches tall to the top of its wings. It’s a bit larger than a ceramic coffee mug. This hand-painted dragon figure features pearlescent blue and green scales on its body, with darker blue wings accented with yellow stars, brown for its tree-like horns and legs, green for the leafy plant-like portions of its head, and light brown for its underbelly.
